When the sensor and your phone are not within Bluetooth range, you will not be able to receive the current temperature from the sensor. When this is the case, the MedAngel sensor saves the temperature data and transmits it to the app as soon as sensor and phone are connected again. You receive a notification about what happened in your absence.
If the temperature has suddenly stopped updating, please first restart your phone, open the app and have the sensor close and wait a few minutes if it reconnects.
To ensure optimal connection quality between the sensor and your phone, we recommend turning on Location Services in the app. This can be done under "Account" in the left-side menu. If the sensor is still not updating although in Bluetooth proximity, it could be that the Location Services are generally disabled for your phone. You can turn Location Services on or off at Settings > Privacy > Location Services. You can then individually control which apps and system services have access to Location Services data. You can turn it off at any time if you don't want to use this feature or to conserve battery life.
